A gold medal to Obama for insensitivity.

When I read about Barack Hussein Obama’s Special Olympics gaffe and the resulting media headlines, I must admit, as much as I dislike the man I thought, good grief, trust the stupid media to jump on a comment like that while ignoring the really important questions surrounding Obama.
Then I saw this video of Sarah Palin and was struck by the glaringly obvious differences between Obama and Palin.
It is quite clear that Sarah Palin has an abundance of compassion and empathy for people less fortunate than herself and equally clear that Obama, well, doesn’t.

Could it be that Obama finds it impossible not to say something stupid when he isn’t reading from his precious teleprompter? His advisers probably should keep him away from interviews such as Leno as the danger that he will reveal the type of person he really is, is too great
It’s not as if it’s the first time his attempts at humour have back fired. There was also the unfortunate time he joked about Jessica Simpson’s weight problem.
Here is an interesting theory on why Obama can’t tell a good joke.

And besides even though it did make headlines in the MSM it’s nothing compared to the furor that would have been created if it was George Bush who said it.

“dislike the man” seriously tho, I didn’t realise you had met him Jen. why didn’t you bring him to Book Club?…..

Would you care to explain why using the term ” dislike the man” implies that I have met him?
You have stated that you ” hate Sarah Palin” so following your bizarre reasoning that must mean you have met her so why don’t you bring her along too? I’d really like to meet her!

Remeber Obama and the Don Imus Comment:

Obama said: “He fed into some of the worst stereotypes that my two young daughters are having to deal with today in America. The notions that as young African-American women — who I hope will be athletes — that that somehow makes them less beautiful or less important. It was a degrading comment. It’s one that I’m not interested in supporting.”

Therefore, laughter and the lack of reaction from Obama’s remarks suggest Americans have a set a rules for race, class and gender: If you touch them you will pay.

And another set of rules for individuals that have a mental or physical disability: If you touch them, it’s ok if you apologize. Oh, and by the way, it’s okay to laugh at the jokes that come at the expense of the latter.

    It is just cruel:
