I think Larissa has got it wrong here. The path she predicts will have points at which people would resist, and democratic governments don’t topple easily where there is a long history of democracy.
I think it will be much more insidious, slowly pushing for more and more concessions until we have given up all the important rights “voluntarily”. I think their plan is such that there will never be a moment at which we can look back and say “that was when the west was lost”. We already see it now where leftist activists give Islam a free pass on all the things the left purports to want – gay rights, feminism, liberal education, etc just because the Muslims have already made everyone SO unprepared to insult them. We are already afraid to say “No” to them, and that will cost us dearly.
Hi Russell, you’re right it will be much more insidious and this is going to sound depressingly defeatist, and it’s possible I feel this way only because Barack Hussein Obama just won another term in office, but I think we’ve already passed the moment when the west was lost. It just won’t become obvious for many years.
It’s probably still reversible but it would take a gigantic change of attitude and policies from western countries and I can’t see it happening because at the moment it’s all one sided, immigration, political correctness, birth rates, the attack on free speech, indoctrination (west hating leftist, as well as white washing Islam), Saudi money, the halal scam ……… the list goes on ….
